CEO Valon Dauti Named Among 14 European Cybersecurity Fellows at Virtual Routes

Vexelon founder and CEO Valon Dauti has been selected as one of 14 cybersecurity professionals across Europe to receive the European Cybersecurity Fellowship, awarded by Virtual Routes, a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing cybersecurity policy and professional development at the European level.

The fellowship recognizes individuals who have demonstrated both technical excellence and meaningful contribution to the European cybersecurity landscape. Selection is competitive, conducted through a rigorous nomination and review process, with fewer than 15 fellows chosen continent-wide for the current cohort.

Dauti was recognized for building Vexelon into a managed security provider operating at an international standard from the Balkans, for his role in raising regional cybersecurity awareness, and for his investment in developing the next generation of security professionals through Vexelon's Internship and Mentorship Program. His work stands as an example of how a regionally focused security organization can meet international standards while addressing the specific threat and regulatory environment of Southeast Europe.

As a fellow, Dauti will participate in policy roundtables, contribute to working groups on the evolving European threat landscape, and collaborate with peers across the continent on critical infrastructure protection, threat intelligence sharing, and cybersecurity workforce development.

"Being selected among such a distinguished group is both humbling and motivating. The work happening at the European level on cybersecurity policy and capacity building directly shapes the environment in which we all operate. I look forward to contributing to that conversation and bringing those perspectives back to the region." said Dauti.

The fellowship reflects a broader commitment at Vexelon: to operate not only as a service provider, but as an active participant in shaping the security ecosystem across Europe.
