Vexelon Sponsors Skopje Security Conference 2026
Vexelon sponsored the Skopje Security Conference 2026, where policymakers and security experts from across Europe examined AI in defence, hybrid threats, and the protection of critical infrastructure.
Vexelon Cybersecurity was a sponsor of the Skopje Security Conference 2026, held on 19 June and organized by the Center for Security Studies. The conference brought together ministers, ambassadors, policymakers, and security experts from across Europe to examine how technological transformation, geopolitical fragmentation, economic instability, and environmental pressure are reshaping security at both the global and regional level.
This year's agenda placed particular weight on questions that sit close to Vexelon's daily work: the role of artificial intelligence in defense and cybersecurity, hybrid threats and cognitive warfare, and the protection of critical infrastructure and democratic institutions. Thematic panels also covered multilateral cooperation, climate-related security risks, and economic resilience in the Western Balkans, with discussions aligned to the priorities of NATO, the EU, and the United Nations.
For Vexelon, supporting the conference was a straightforward decision. The threats discussed on its panels, from AI-enabled attacks to coordinated hybrid campaigns, are not abstractions for organizations in this region. They are the operating environment. Events that bring policymakers and practitioners into the same room, in Skopje, matter for how quickly the region can respond.
The conference also reflects something Vexelon has argued since its founding: Skopje can be a genuine regional hub for strategic security dialogue, not a spectator to conversations happening elsewhere. We were glad to help make this edition possible, and we intend to stay involved.
